Labruzzi treated the Tomb of Caecilia Metella a number of times in his oeuvre. One of his finest and freshest depictions is the watercolour study done on the spot and which was included in the exhibition, 'Carlo Labruzzi: The Grand Tour' of an album at Dickinson in 2012.
